Oscillation amplitude

Oscillations are deviations of the fetal heart rate from the average basal level. Changes in the basal rhythm are characterized by the frequency and amplitude of instantaneous oscillations. Normally, the frequency of instantaneous oscillations is 6-12 per minute.
