Sinus arrhythmia is in itself a normal phenomenon, that is, it occurs in all people and especially in children. In absolutely healthy people, the irregularity of the sinus rhythm is almost always observed, especially at rest. Usually in this condition, the difference in cardiac contractions is about 10% or more, and the greater this difference, the more healthy the human heart is. Most people mistakenly believe that the heart should constantly beat in the same rhythm, but this is just wrong, there must necessarily be a small difference, which is absolutely unnoticeable to the naked eye.

Sinus arrhythmia becomes pathology, if the frequency of contractions is doubled with inspiration and decreased with exhalation. This means that fluctuations in the tone of the vagus nerve are most likely disturbed; in the process of breathing, the heart is incorrectly filled with blood.

Sinus arrhythmia is not considered a dangerous disease, very often it passes by itself after a certain period of time, especially often in children and young people. The patient usually does not feel any discomfort or pain. Very often such an arrhythmia can not be noticed even during examination.

Most often, this kind of arrhythmia occurs in the elderly and in children, this is due to their not yet fully developed respiratory system. And also often sinus arrhythmia occurs in people who have had respiratory and infectious diseases.

This pathology can be detected using ECG Dongle [1], ECG Dongle Full [2] and «Serdechko» [3].
