Wandering atrial pacemaker is a kind of arrhythmia, characterized by a constant movement of the excitation impulse, causing a contraction of the heart, within the right atrium.

Clinical signs of migration of wandering atrial pacemaker:

  • weakness,
  • malaise,
  • fast fatigability,
  • decrease in working capacity,
  • feeling of uneven heart work,
  • heartache.

In some cases, the disease is asymptomatic.

Disorder of the transmission of impulses from the atria to the ventricles leads to their slow contraction, which is manifested by dizziness, frequent faintings, hypertension. Daily monitoring of the electrocardiogram records a rapid sinus rhythm with an optimal nightly reduction in heart rate and detects frequent episodes of wandering atrial pacemaker during night or daytime hours.

This pathology can be detected using ECG Dongle [1] and ECG Dongle Full [2].
