Accelerations

Материал из CardioWiki

Accelerations are transient acceleration (increase) of the fetal heart rate by 15 beats per minute or more, lasting 15 seconds or more. Accelerations occur in response to the motor activity of the fetus (sporadic) and uterine contractions (periodic). This parameter is considered a favorable sign, indicating a satisfactory condition of the fetus. However, too frequent accelerations, of the same duration and occurring at regular intervals, are an alarm signal.
